"...Without Your Consent"

Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, 9.56 x 6.75 in (booklet), 11 x 17 in (poster), 2022

This booklet is based on the aphorism "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" by former first lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The artist immediately connected with it because she was dealing with a lot of insecurity that stems from her relationship with social media. Eleanor opened her eyes that one has control over their feelings and what they allow to hurt them. The book displays symbols of comparison, reflection, hierarchy, and social media use. She also learned how to explore techniques of typography like point size, leading, layout, and systems to create a cohesive style. After creating the booklet, it was redesigned into poster form that can be printed out and folded so viewers can interact and view it in an alternative way.
