The Greensboro Science Center Logo Make-Over is a project consisting of choosing a pre-existing logo and refining it into the designer's own style. Greensboro Science Center was chosen out of Savanna’s own childhood experience of visiting the center and her appeal to nature in general. The process involved creating a moodboard, exploring various symbols, color, and text combinations through sketching and illustrations, which then led to creating a toolkit, mock-up, and promo video to theoretically apply the logo in a “real-life” scenario. The design utilizes the same color scheme but the composition is broken down into an abstract form of an atom. The key features of the logo are the three colors which visually communicate the components of the center: museum, aquarium, and zoo.
